In 2018 we hosted the Mash Bash Rally for the Solos Australia Qld branch of the CMCA (Campervan and Motorhome Club of Australia) for seven days. This event was wildly successful with 62 motorhomes and campervans nestled on The Strip in the Bush. During their stay we held the first welcome to country and smoking ceremony on the property in over 120 years. As well, in association with the Gooreng Gooreng elders, we held a cultural awareness workshop for the participants. The rally participants spent close on $30,000 in our little town of Miriam Vale during that week.
2019 saw Indigenous singer/songwriter Dan Sultan perform under the stars to an excited audience of fans. Once again we held a welcome to country and smoking ceremony for the attendees.
2021 we created the Wrapt in Mugul ephemeral highway and rainforest exhibition. This project was the first ever ephemeral highway and rainforest artwork exhibition to be held in the Gladstone region. Five large scale artworks were positioned along a 20 km stretch of the Bruce Highway, between Bororen and Colosseum, and a further 9 pieces were situated along a rainforest trail on Mugul Mountain Retreat. This event had over 400,000 people see and interact with the artworks.
